Getting It Together. That is, prewriting is everything I do to get ready to write like planning, outlining, studying, brainstorming, mind-mapping, etc.

Getting It Down. Drafting includes composing the first draft of my paper. The main
thing is to get words on paper.
Drafting
Revising
Getting It Right. Revising includes making changes. Sometimes major changes. Like does the content serve what it's supposed to? Does it need more? Less?, etc

Getting It Polished. Proofreading includes fixing all the
pesky little things like spelling, grammar, punctuation,
